We had a chance to visit South Surrey and we dropped by Campbell Valley Regional Park for a quick stroll, which is just a short drive away in the south west corner of Township of Langley, almost on the USA border.

There are several walking trails in the park with varying difficulty. We didn’t have much time, so we took a short stroll on the easiest Little River Loop. It’s a stroller friendly, 2.3km trail with a mix of fine gravel and board walk, accessible from the North Valley Entrance.

On this gray winter morning, the views were subdued and the water level in the Little Campbell River was very low.

We had no plans and no goals, so we just let the kids explore as much as they wanted, and turned back. It started snowing on our way back, which added quite the magic to our outing.
